Walk-A-Thon
The GBA students have finished the walk-a-thon! The link below will direct you to a form for the specific purpose of providing an online payment option for each donor, whether you made a pledge-per-lap or desire to make a one-time donation. Please make sure to select the student who’ll be credited for your support. Thank you for supporting our small school. As a private, Christian school, Gateway Baptist Academy is fully funded by the school families, our local church (Desert Gateway Baptist), and others who support our various fundraising efforts. This allows us the liberty to teach uncompromised Biblical truth without sacrificing any academic integrity. As Christians we believe that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” As the former president of Princeton College, John Witherspoon, once said, “Cursed be all that learning which is not made subservient to the honour and glory of the cross of Christ!”
Thank you for being willing to support our school. We are raising funds for three specific reasons: for certain students, this walk-a-thon is an opportunity to raise money for their Fine Arts Competition trip to Lancaster, California. We are also seeking to raise funds for a new sport court (that will feature a basketball/volleyball court and bleachers) and resources for a digital school library (E-Readers and Tablets).
